About the Role:
Quality Painting LLC is looking for a skilled and reliable Painter to join our growing team in St Clair County, MI. Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for painting including cleaning, sanding, scraping, and patching
- Apply paint, stain, and other finishes to interior and exterior surfaces
- Select and mix paints and coatings to match color specifications
- Set up and safely operate ladders, scaffolding, and other equipment
- Apply caulking, sealants, and primers as needed before painting
- Protect floors, furniture, and fixtures with drop cloths and masking tape
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site throughout each project
Requirements:
- Previous experience in residential or commercial painting preferred
- Knowledge of surface preparation techniques and painting materials
- Ability to work safely at heights using ladders and scaffolding
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship
- Reliable transportation to jobsite in St Clair County area
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Valid driver's license a plus

Compensation: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Quality Painting LLC is a locally owned painting and exterior services contractor serving St. Clair and Macomb counties. We’ve been in business for 10 years doing interior and exterior painting, cabinet refinishing, trim and door work, deck and fence staining, and exterior softwashing for homeowners and businesses.
We run every job to a written standard — our crews work from documented prep, coating, and cleanup procedures, so the finish holds up and the jobsite gets left better than we found it.
What it’s like to work here: a small team, steady work, and no guessing. You’ll know the scope before you start, you’ll have the right materials on the truck, and you’ll get paid weekly. These are W-2 positions, not 1099 subcontracting.
This is not an entry-level shop. We’re not set up to train from scratch — you need real experience cutting in, rolling, spraying, and prepping, and you need to be able to work without someone standing over you.
